A brand new smart and well presented apartment located approximately 0.5 miles from the city centre. It's only a 10- 15 minute walk to many of York's central tourist attractions, such as the Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre or York's Chocolate Story. Foss Islands is just across the road, where there are a collection of large retail units and supermarkets, such as Morrisons, Lidl and Waitrose.
My apartment is on the 2nd floor and is reached via a secure communal entrance. Once inside, it consists of a fabulous open plan living dining area, with direct access into the kitchen, two double bedrooms and bathroom. Up to 5 guests can be accommodated, with the addition of a single sofa bed.
The living dining area is ideal for socialising and home dining. There is a large comfy sofa, separate armchair, flat screen TV with Amazon 4K Fire stick, and table and chairs. The Juliette balcony in the living area brings in natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
The modern kitchen is part of the open plan living, but set back slightly. Mod cons are built in and include use of an oven, hob, extractor hood, fridge, freezer, slimline dishwasher and a washer dryer. Smaller appliances include a toaster, kettle and microwave.
In the master bedroom there is a king size bed (size 5ft, 6ft3in), a large wardrobe and bedside tables with reading lamps. The second double bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers, hanging unit, and also bedside tables with reading lamps. Both bedrooms include freshly laundered linen and two towels per guest (bath and hand towel). The sofa in the living space makes a third single bed.
Lastly, there is a three piece shower room with a generous shower enclosure (please note, no bath) and a heated towel rail.
If arriving by car, you'll get the benefit of using the free allocated parking space which is in the car park before the communal entrance.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment. The car park space relates to my apartment (details to follow once booking is made.)
Other things to note:
Please be aware that my apartment is not directly located on James St, which is a regularly used main road through the centre of York, but slightly set back from it. Light sleepers are still best bringing their earplugs to be on the safe side.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
